Executive Women's Golf Association
The Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991 to promote and foster a spirit of acceptance, dignity and respect for career-oriented women interested in golf. Locally the Executive Women's Golf Association home course is the Aldeen Golf Club.
A Common Link At Any Level
New golfers, occasional golfers, and avid golfers each find EWGA programs geared to their interest and demanding time schedules. Instructional clinics allow new golfers to learn without embarrassment. Leagues, outings, and championship tournaments are conducted for those already in the swing. Whatever, your level, EWGA Chapters conduct a myriad of events to help you gain the confidence to join business associates on the fairway.
Invaluable Business Insight
Interaction during a round of golf plays an important role in forming relationships. You can gain a new perspective on your associates and clients, see how they react in a tense situation and, at the same time, learn in a setting that encourages relaxed conversation. The course is also a good place for career-minded women to evaluate self-performance under pressure.
Valued Personal Relationships
Through EWGA, female peers in different industries make close friendships as well as professional connections. If a member relocates, she can connect with the local Chapter for a new circle of friends. Sharing fun, outdoor activities, and golf experiences will automatically lengthen the list of names of favorite people.
