Policies
for an Exceptional Golf Experience
Reservation and Cancellation
Tee times may be made one week in advance by calling 815-282-GOLF (4653)
or toll free 1-888-4ALDEEN.
Advance tee reservations require a major credit card to hold the reservation.
Notice of cancellation or reduction of players must be received 24 hours
in advance of your scheduled tee time, or the card holder will be charged.
Players are requested to arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to their
reserved tee time.
If play is limited due to inclement weather conditions, cancellations will
be accepted up to the time of play.
Rain checks will be issued for rounds that are not completed due to inclement
weather.
Pace of Play
Rounds of golf at Aldeen Golf Club are expected to take four hours
and twenty minutes or less (4:20). Groups will be asked to play
at this pace
and to maintain their starting interval behind the group in front of
them.
Groups unable to maintain this pace may be asked to skip a portion
of the course in order to achieve the “Time Par” of four hours
and twenty minutes.
Care of the Course
Golf carts are to remain on cart paths around all greens and tees.
White cart control circles are marked around all greens and carts
must remain
outside these lines. Players are expected and required to replace divots
or to fill divots with soil and seed provided in bottles, on carts
or in fairways. Players are also expected and required to fix ball
marks and
to rake bunkers, replacing the rakes in bunkers when finished.
Proper Attire, Smoking, Alcohol Policies
Proper golf attire is expected to be worn by our patrons. This includes
shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks or Bermuda shorts. Denim jeans
in good condition are acceptable. Shoes (suitable for golf courses)
are to be worn at all times.
Metal spikes are not permitted. These can be taken care
of for you at the Golf Shop at Aldeen.
Smoking is not permitted in the Clubhouse, and smokers are asked to
be courteous on the golf course when disposing of their smoking materials.
All beverages must be purchased through the Café at Aldeen. Private
coolers are not permitted. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased and consumed
in the Clubhouse, on the course, or at the Practice Centre. Alcoholic
beverages may not be brought into Aldeen Golf Club for private events
without the
prior consent and written permission of golf staff.
